Gente de NAHJ: Vlogger wants to help other introverts break out of their shell
CHICAGO HILTON FITNESS CENTER — One would never be able to tell that Nicholas Cruz was once an introvert from watching his vlogs.
“I used to be a very shy person growing up … but over time, I kind of broke out of my shell, and I realized it’s not as scary as it seems,” Cruz said while being interviewed by The Latino Reporter at the hotel hot tub.
A recent graduate from Florida Atlantic University, Cruz hopes to one day become an on-air sports reporter.
For now, he is working on establishing an online community with his daily “Rise and Grind” vlogs.
