A Cinderella story in downtown San Antonio
Shyann White grew up with draft horses. Now, she drives a carriage filled with sunflowers and red bows — pulled by a huge Clydesdale named Buckiroo.
You may have seen the pair around downtown San Antonio, near Alamo Plaza. That’s where a fleet of horse carriages — all decked out in different themes — can be found. They are a huge tourist draw and a favorite for couple date nights.
White has worked for Lollypop Carriages Co. Inc. for three years. She says driving around with Buckiroo, who White says has a goofy personality, is a dream come true.
A Cinderella story — just like the carriages.
