We at the Latino Reporter have seen your kids, your dogs and random Zoom bombers crash sessions during the first-ever virtual National Association of Black Journalist and National Association of Hispanic Journalists conference. So, in the spirit of the popular Twitter account @ratemyskyperoom, which rates people’s rooms as they beam onto cable news programs from the comfort of their own home amid an ongoing pandemic, Latino Reporter staff writers Adriana Morga Oregel and Kimberly Cruz took NAHJ and NABJ members to task for the rooms they brought to this year’s conference.
From big-name journalists to our own Latino Reporter editors, our raters did not let anyone off the hook.
