Gente de NAHJ: Journalism is all in the family for the Grandas
Following the same career path of a parent can be a daunting choice. That is not the case for Carlos and Max Granda.
Carlos is a reporter for ABC 7 in Los Angles. His son, Max, is a rising senior studying journalism at the University of California Irvine.
Max says attending the conference with his dad excites him. Carlos expresses how proud he is of his son.
This is the first year they have attended NAHJ together, but say they are well on their way to planning their trip to New Orleans for next year’s convention.
