Truck driving school gives returning students a second chance
LOS ANGELES – For more than a quarter century, this truck and bus driving school has turned miles into money for Latinos who may otherwise have had a difficult time entering the workforce due to disabilities or a criminal history.
This program, funded by the California Department of Rehabilitation, has helped countless drivers get on the road.

The country’s transit system depends on drivers, who, in some cases, must also learn a new language in order to obtain a commercial driver’s license.
